The crystal binary is statically linked, so we just need the binary, shards, the stdlib (/usr/share/crystal) and libgc.a (/usr/lib/crystal). Let me adjust the Containerfile:Opened PR #55: feat: add Crystal toolchain.

Changes in the Containerfile:

  • New stage FROM docker.io/crystallang/crystal:1 AS crystal (floating 1 tag as requested)
  • Copies into the build target: crystal (verified statically linked), shards, /usr/lib/crystal (libgc.a), and /usr/share/crystal (stdlib sources)
  • Added crystal --version to the version-print step
